I stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday, Feb 14-15, during the Munich Security Conference, which I realize is a period of very high demand for hotels and restaurants. I was given room 115, which I expect is among the least attractive rooms in the hotel, if not in fact the least worst. I frankly found this gesture quite insulting. I travel extensively for business and pleasure and occasionally have this sort of unpleasant, annoying experience. The room was dark, its window looks out on a very unappealing neighboring roof window structure. In the evenings, when I went to bed, there was noise through the walls from neighboring plumbing. If I had not been so rushed when I arrived, I would have immediately objected to the room and demanded another, or moved somewhere else. I will not be returning to this hotel and will not recommend it.
