The stay was very good. The staff were all very polite and friendly offering help. The only thing was it was noisy in the room as it overlooked a busy street with trams working till late in the night and starting early in the morning. The soundproofness could have been higher. The breakfast was good but lacked veges.

Very Good hotel and staff have stayed and used hotel Excelsior together With the family for mani yers. We then booke and stayed in the same Room for mani yers. We have booke and stayed in 2 Rooms on The 5th flor. (526 and 527)
Break fast is also very good and can and is rekommander

The staff were simply wonderful! So helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. I wish we had a coffee maker in the room and the carpet was a bit stained. But the rooms were very large and we appreciated that.

WE had a very nice stay. Quaint. Clean. Walking distance to several sights.
My only negative is we were told by the waitress that the breakfast was at no additional charge. We were charged on my hold redid card for 2 . Was a charge we were. OT expecting and we would have chosen another option.

Ich war nun das dritte mal in ihrem Haus und an sich immer sehr zufrieden. Allerdings ist es so, dass die Buchung einer Zimmerkategorie nicht unbedingt Auskunft über die tatsächliche Zimmergröße ubd den Comfort gibt. Bei meinen Buchungen habe ich bei derselben Zimmerkategorie jeweils unterschiedlich große Zimmer bekommen die auch unterschiedlich komfortabel waren (mal 10qm mehr, mal weniger; mal mit und mal ohne Klimaanlage). Leider war das Zimmer 111 sehr klein und SEHR LAUT. Es war so hellhörig, ich habe alles gehört, sowohl vom Flur und von der Hotellobby als auch von anderen Zimmern. Die Büroräume gegenüber wurden sehr früh, scheinbar für eine Konferenz, zurechtgemacht, sodass an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken war. Der "Ausblick" auf eine Art Glasdach im Innenhof war auch nicht sonderlich schön, sodass ich fast den runtergelassen Rolladen bevorzugt habe.
Das Personal ist jedoch wie immer absolut freundlich gewesen, hierfür ein großes Lob!

Gleichzeitig bedauern wir sehr, dass Ihr letzter Aufenthalt nicht in allen Punkten Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Ihre Hinweise zur unterschiedlichen Zimmergröße und Ausstattung innerhalb derselben Zimmerkategorie nehmen wir sehr ernst. Tatsächlich kann es, abhängig von der Lage im Haus, zu Abweichungen kommen. Wir verstehen jedoch, dass dies zu Unzufriedenheit führen kann, insbesondere wenn Komfortmerkmale wie eine Klimaanlage oder die Zimmergröße variieren.

Dass Sie das Zimmer 111 als sehr laut empfunden haben und dadurch Ihre Nachtruhe erheblich gestört wurde, tut uns außerordentlich leid. Auch der eingeschränkte Ausblick sowie die frühen Vorbereitungen in den gegenüberliegenden Büroräumen entsprechen selbstverständlich nicht unserem Anspruch an einen erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Our second visit to this wonderful and friendly hotel .It is truly a home from home in a great city and we really like the German style of the interior areas .Staff are very professional and helpful and nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast is very good with lots of choice .Overall a great pre Christmas holiday. Highly recommended.
