The hotel was in a great location, and the lobby and restaurants were very nice. However, being a solo traveler, I was put on the top floor with a window to a common area with very little ventilation. The bed faced the window, which looked directly into the window of another room. It was so hot, I had to have the window wide open, regardless of who could see me lying in bed. I realize many European hotels do not have air conditioning, but a fan placed in the room would have made a big difference. A pretty miserable two nights in a luxury hotel. Lesson learned, I will just book a larger room for myself so I don't end up on the top (hottest) floor.

The hotel has a good location, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and impeccable. The only criticism is that the room did not have air conditioning so we had to leave the window open, which faced the street that the tram passed, and it was very noisy.

Nice room overlooking a courtyard. No tea kettle in the room. No slippers in the bathroom. I usually get these amenities in other four-star
