The room size and equipment was very good. The design did not fit my personal preference which includes to have a dedicated bathroom, not having a shower being visible from the outside. It is a much higher possibility that hotel staff such as cleaners can see you naked.
Besides of the room design, the lighting was not to my likings. Even though it raises the "flexibility" to turn off or on lights individually, it's too much switches for me. For this I prefer some kind of "master switch" with separate ones for circuits.

Clean yes, but "stick to your rules"
At my stay, my room was cleaned and the towels were exchanged, cleaning: yes, but exchanging towels? That was not wanted for and the towels were not lying on the floor as it was noted as a "signal" to change the towels and to avoid too much cleaning and increase costs (as in every other hotel I was before as well).

Service:
I like the online check-in and check-out. When I arrived at the hotel, I was looking around for the terminal that was mentioned in the mail to get the key card but didn't see anything and since I was then already speaking with the reception, there was no need to get to any terminal anymore.
Maybe it needs to be clearer where to get to a terminal and if the hotel does not have a terminal to point that out. Maybe the City & Lounge Yorck Berlin one does not have it – I don't know about others
