I stayed in the same hotel last year. Even though I only had a coffee on the morning, I was never charged for it . This year, however, the situation was different. As I was making a coffee a receptionist approached me and asked me if he can helped me. I said I was a guest and I was going to have a coffee as I don’t eat breakfast. He immediately pointed out that I will be charged for that and made me feel as I tried to have a coffee without paying. On that morning, I was
Charged 3 euros for a coffee and on the following 4. I did question it but he said it was the till. I just think that his manner was not very welcoming and considering the service provided last year, I found him to be not very customer oriented. The fire alarm went off ih the early hours of Sunday morning. I was shocked that there was no sense of urgency, that there were no fire marshals to check the floors and the rooms. No one has spoken to the guests and we just waited outside. I don’t think that the fire procedures were followed by members of the staff nor the guests. It was absolutely shambles- disorganised and I as a guest felt that the whole situation was handled badly.
