We really liked the breakfast and the service at breakfast was brilliant. The whole stay would have been great except for the fact the we had no TV remote control so no way to watch the TV when we arrived in the room. We were told one would be supplied asap. When we still did not have one the next day we told reception and one was supplied. When I checked out I Told reception that this is an expensive hotel and we should not be paying full price without full access to what we paid for. The receptionist was a trainee who went away to find his boss. He could not find him as he was in a meeting but he took my email address and said they would be in touch later about a refund/discount. However still no contact nor refund nor any apology for falling short on service. It looks like we will have to go to the trouble of a formal complaint unless you can resolve this. It is pointless doing surveys like this if you don’t respond to complain ts promptly and properly….
