We loved our stay and want to come back. Because The Gorki isn’t a hotel, it really felt like a place we could make our ‘home’ for a few days. I was pretty stressed on arrival and coming relaxed by our departure.
A few suggestions, if I may. I mentioned getting fresh air into the bedroom with being woken early by the daylight. Some ‘French’ shutters (ie doors with slats) at the balcony doors would be a solution. Fresh air in but not the light.
Second: a single comfy chair in the lounge would so improve things. My wife took to sitting on cushions on the floor, in the balcony door to read.
Third - and trivial - I really appreciated the email from you just before we arrived, inviting us to have bubble bath & fruit put in the kitchen. If I had known the Berlin food shops are shut on a Sunday - & that you were happy to buy other groceries - I would have asked you to get in more things. As it was, Chris kindly went shopping for our Monday breakfast! Butter, milk juice, jam & bread were all needed & he kindly bought.

Rather disappointed with the flat. It has great potential, but as it is now it's just a very expensive room with a bed, not a place you really want to be.
