Great apartment, great design and also had luxurious towels, toiletries and teas. Good water pressure in shower. Very functional apartment. Great location. Very clean. Only downside was lack of air conditioning which was an issue as was unseasonably warm in Berlin.

We loooooved our apartment! We had booked the largest, most expensive but found it overlooked the street where there is a tram and lots of cafes. We chose to move to the courtyard and a smaller -- but still beautiful spot-- where it was quiet. The staff is friendly and accomodating. You are right in the middle of everything Mitte-- awesome food, great coffee shops, incredible organic everything and only a walk to museum island. We will be staying at Gorki again.
