My experience was good. The only thing was that my room was near the elevator, and the elevator was pretty loud throughout the night.

Very good. The bed was perhaps a bit soft but beyond that all was great.

A special place to stay with plenty of history and character. The staff are very friendly, experienced and constant. They recognise regular customers and make them feel at home. Always a pleasure to visit

We have stayed at this hotel before and were extremely pleased with it, but this time we found our room was much smaller and could be updated, we had a problem, with the bed as it was a little small for two people to sleep in. Our main worry was the bathroom, the shower/bath was so high and difficult to climb in and out of. Our overall stay was good and we do plan to stay again we shall however ask for a larger room as we did the first time preferably looking out over the valley,
