Overall very good. Was an enjoyable stay

You could enjoy one of our spacious and comfortable Superior rooms, completely renovated in an Art Deco style of the 30s. We are delighted to see that you appreciated the room !

The Grand Hotel de Tours was built in 1927 and we strive to keep the Art Deco atmosphere of that time. Our next step is to renovate the main lift for a better comfort for all our guests.

Very pleasant staff both on check-in and check-out.
Unfortunately a quick stop over which didn't allow us to use any other facilities.
Would definitely stay again!

Very great staff, but the hotel needs to be revised a bit, as it looks old (the sign in the elevator stating the hotel is in renovation has been there for at least 6 months now, but I have not seen or heard any work being done).
Another point: twice during my stay, the cleaning lady came in my room even though I had put up the "Do not Disturb" sign. I do not understand this at all.

Indeed, our hotel is under renovation frequently. It can also include wallpapering or painting and all without noise.
It is true that when you put the sign "do not disturb", the maid must open your room. I would not fail to report it to the housekeeper.

We were most impressed with this hotel (even though some renovations were being carried out). Staff were friendly and helpful and we will definately revisit to see how the upgrades bring this hotel back to its previous splendour.

The Grand Hotel de Tours is located in the heart of the city of Tours and close to the train station. Indeed, we are about 100m on the left of the station. Very convenient, right? The train station was built by Victor Laloux around 1896-98.

The old town is about 15mn walking depending on your speed. You can find restaurants around the hotel, in the colbert street or in the old town. When the weather is shiny, walking in the city is really nice !

You could enjoy one of our spacious and comfortable Superior rooms, completely renovated in an Art Deco style of the 30s. The hotel is isonorisé with double glazing to reduce outdoor pollution. We are delighted to see that you appreciated the room !

Petit bémol, il manquait du gel douche ds la douche...
