Very good. The only downside is that the hotel looks dirty from the outside which does not give a good first impression.

The Grand Hotel de Tours is located in the heart of the city of Tours and close to the train station.
It is a strategic point to enjoy the different excursions offered to our dear tourists. It was built in 1927 and we are particularly keen to retain the style of the 1930s is renovated in this spirit.

Hotel needs upgrading overall. The Reception staff should at least be able to speak better English.

The Grand Hotel de Tours was indeed built in the 30s and we strive to keep the Art Deco atmosphere of that time.
You have booked one Classic room overlooking a pedestrian shopping street as well as 2 comfort rooms.
Regarding the bathroom, only our room Comfort, Superior, Family and Suites are renovated in the spirit of the 30s.
We acknowledge your comment on the room furnitures and we will work on it. As for the carpet, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We will ask our maintenance service to clean the carpet.
We are located close to the shops, the old town and the Station. In 2013, the tramway was built for a better transportation and that is why the traffic around 'Place du General Leclerc' was changed.
To help our guest getting to our hotel, we do send an access plan by email to the guests.

It was a great priced hotel in a good location for the train. Our neighbour was very loud one night next door as the connecting door was not insulated. It could be noisy from upstairs too but we realise it's an old building. The room was very well done though. Some better pillows would have been appreciated. They were very rubbery and thin. Bathroom great. Thank you.

The hotel is isonorisé with double glazing to reduce outdoor pollution. We're sorry you've had a little too noisy neighbors.

Know that if your pillows do not suit you, it is quite possible to request additional reception. In addition you have at your disposal in the wardrobe of your room.

Our bathrooms are entirely renovated when it comes Comfort rooms, Superior and many of the suites.

As for breakfast, I understand your disappointment. It is true that at the end of service, he may miss certain products and in this case, do not hesitate to ask this person in the dining room.

Votre Hotel est très bien situé mais quelques travaux (en cours semble-t-il) sont nécessaires.

Nos chambres Confort donnent sur la place ou côté cour. Côté place, quelques nuisances peuvent déranger les clients les plus sensibles, n'hésitez donc pas à réserver une chambre donnant sur la cour au calme.
Nous nous étonnons de votre remarque concernant nos viennoiseries, car celles-ci sont cuites tous les matins par notre équipe. En ce qui concerne le pain, celui-ci est livré par un boulanger tourangeau. Notre buffet est varié et propose de nombreux choix de produits, tels que boissons chaude, froide, céréales, fruits, charcuterie, fromages...
Le Grand Hotel de Tours est rénové dans le style des années 30 et nous nous attachons à conserver cet esprit.
Nous sommes idéalement situé, à deux pas de la gare de Tours, des commerces et de la ville historique.

Achei o café da manhã muito caro, por isso não tomamos.
o quarto era bom. mas o banheiro pode melhorar.
poderia ter frigobar.

Não é obrigatório ter um frigobar nos quartos, mas ainda temos um disponível na recepção.

Dommage que la chambre soit vétuste, de plus rue bruyante toute la nuit.

Vous avez en effet réservé une chambre Classique donnant sur une rue piétonne commerçante. Quelques nuisances peuvent déranger les clients les plus sensibles.
Concernant la salle de bains, seules nos chambres Confort, Supérieure, Familiale et Suites sont rénovées dans l'esprit des années 30.
Nous notons votre remarque concernant l'armoire. Cependant, nous avons fait le choix de literie de taille 180x190cm pour un meilleur confort.
Pour le petit-déjeuner, nous proposons un large choix de produits variés comme vous le précisez.
