Hotel Alpenhof is a family run 4 star hotel. It is perfectly located for skiing or hiking, or even a break away from it all. Views of the mountains are breathtaking and there is plenty to do on site - visiting the small farm, playing tennis, trampolining, etc. Those who have small children will love visiting the children's playroom, and those who want to relax can use the spa facilities (sauna, steam room) or indoor swimming pool with sun terrace. There is a 2 minute hotel provided shuttle service to take you and pick you up from the cable car station if skiing is your thing. The hotel puts on a small complimentary afternoon buffet (rolls, cake, salad) for those who are feeling peckish after all that activity, which you can take outside whilst enjoying the fresh mountain air. We went early April and it was beautifully warm. We'll be back.
