First time being in one of the chains hotels, to try something new. The occasion was a family event and to take a weekend off.
About the positives of the hotel:
Everything is new, spacious and modern furnitured rooms, clean, good location near city centre, friendly staff (but seemed a bit too untrained), and great views in case your room is facing south. Real great Apparol Spritz in the roof terrace 👍🏻
The downsides:
Too little possibilities to hang clothes, too little power outlets, narrow entrance to the parking, hotel still not 100% running but full prices
Why only one star rating? - day one: breakfast, people are filming a promo video, all good tables with view occupied because of that - day two waking up to a drone in my face in front of the window, same story, and breakfast again someone running around with a camera. Being on vacation I want to have peace quiet and privacy, not having to deal with a promo video being shot! No information about that upfront, no consent form…just the word from the staff. Sorry guys, not ok for me in any way.
