I am extremely happy with how the entire staff come together and run this wonderful place. Martina, Mikhayela and all the housekeeping staff ensures your stay is pleasant. The rooms are good. The property is surrounded in a superb location. Everything works well and Harry’s Home makes you feel at home away from home

Regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standards I expected.

Firstly, the temperature in our room was unacceptably high throughout our stay. The room was excessively hot, making it almost impossible to sleep. We spent the nights sweating and suffering considerable discomfort due to the heat. I reported this issue to the reception; however, I was simply informed that nothing could be done. At the very least, the hotel could and should have provided a fan or an alternative solution to alleviate the situation.

The most serious incident occurred on 25 June 2026. A party was being held in the restaurant on either the first or second floor, directly below my room (Room 420). A DJ played extremely loud music late into the evening, causing significant disturbance and preventing us from resting.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., I emailed reception to complain about the excessive noise, clearly explaining that we were unable to sleep and were suffering from severe headaches because of the volume of the music. When no action was taken, I sent a second email at approximately 10:45 p.m., again expressing my concerns and the impact the noise was having on our wellbeing. Despite these repeated complaints, no action was taken by the hotel staff.

The music finally stopped at around 11:00 p.m., but by then our evening had been completely ruined and our sleep severely disrupted. I find it unacceptable that repeated complaints regarding excessive noise and guest welfare were ignored.

In addition, when I made my booking, the room description clearly stated that it included a queen-size bed. However, upon arrival, the room contained two single beds pushed together instead. This was not what I had booked or paid for, and no explanation was provided for this change. Furthermore, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and I woke up every morning suffering from back pain.

Overall, the conditions during our stay were wholly unacceptable and did not reflect the standards that your hotel advertises. The excessive heat, the failure to address repeated noise complaints, and the provision of a room that did not match the booking description caused significant distress and inconvenience.

We are truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and that you encountered several inconveniences during your visit.

Regarding the temperature in your room, we understand how uncomfortable it must have been, especially during the exceptionally hot days we experienced in the Zürich region, with temperatures reaching up to 38°C. Our heating and cooling system operates through a water-based circulation system and was functioning within its normal operating parameters during your stay. Nevertheless, we appreciate that the unusually high outdoor temperatures affected your comfort.

Our reception team is staffed daily from 6:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m., and they would have been more than happy to provide you with a fan had you mentioned that this would help improve your comfort. We regret that this solution was not offered during your stay and apologize for the missed opportunity to better assist you.

With regard to the music, the evening in question coincided with our "Social Thursday" event, during which we welcomed three renowned DJs. The music concluded at 10:00 p.m., in accordance with Swiss regulations. While the event was held within the legally permitted hours, we sincerely regret that it disturbed your evening and negatively impacted your stay.

We are also sorry to learn that the bed configuration did not meet your expectations and that this affected the quality of your sleep. We understand how important a comfortable night's rest is and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment you experienced. Your feedback is valuable to us, as it helps us identify opportunities to improve both our communication and our service.
