plusses: location (harbour, town centre, station, restaurants nearby)/ hygiene and cleanliness/ breakfast - minuses: when you take a shower, the bathroom is flooded/ the staff is correct and businessslike, but there is hardly any personal touch. As almost all the guests are German, the knowledge of and the willingness to speak English is low. All the brochures and all the information is in German. I understand German quite well and I speak it a bit, so I tried to do my best. I can understand your choice, but the fact that you are on booking.com means that you also want to welcome guests who do not speak and understand German. But overall, I really enjoyed the stay in Cuxhaven!

Das beste Hotel auf unser 7tägigen Fahrradtour, Mitarbeiter sehr natürlich freundlich, tolle Lage, Dachterrasse wunderbar.

Beim Frühstück musste man coronabedingt anstehen, wenn man nur noch eine Tasse Kaffee wünschte - Kaffeeausschank durch Mitarbeiter mit Thermoskannen oder Behälter außerhalb des Buffetraumes.
Schließen des Fahrradraumes über die Zimmerkarte.

Das Havenhostel hat eine tolle Lage, von der Dachterrasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt, die Elbe und die Nordsee. Das Hostel ist modern und sauber. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, die betten bequem. Das Frühstück ist gut.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.
Leider waren die Matratzen nicht so schön, so dass uns das Schlafen echt nicht leicht gemacht wurde.
Jedoch sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr sauberes Zimmer.

Das Hotel gefällt mir gut. Es ist sauber und die Zimmer sind geräumig. Leider sind die Matrazen nicht so gut.
