It was ok but I wouldn't recommend as the room was awful

We sincerely regret that your stay at Hotel HCC Taber did not meet your expectations. Our goal is always to provide the best possible experience to our guests, and we are truly sorry that this was not the case for you.

Regarding the size of the room, we would like to assure you that all our accommodations comply with the legal regulations for a hotel of our category. The dimensions of our single beds are 2 meters in length by 1 meter in width, as stated in our booking process. We understand that space expectations may vary, but we always strive to provide a comfortable and functional environment for our guests.We encourage for the future to book a doble room for single use, that may get more space and confort for you.

As for the unpleasant smell you experienced, we sincerely apologize. Occasionally, due to the dry climate of our city and the limited rainfall, drainage systems in Barcelona can be affected. Had we been informed during your stay, our team would have gladly inspected and addressed the issue immediately, and offer a solution.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the service and pricing. Our team works diligently to maintain a balance between quality and cost, and we regret that you did not find the value satisfactory on this occasion.

Nefasta

Estimado Sr. de Marcos,

Lamentamos profundamente que su estancia en el Hotel HCC Taber no haya cumplido con sus expectativas. Apreciamos que valore nuestra ubicación y que haya encontrado el proceso de check-in sencillo, pero sentimos que su impresión general del hotel no haya sido positiva.

Tal como menciona, nuestro hotel es un establecimiento de tres estrellas, lo que implica que no disponemos de servicio de limpieza las 24 horas. Entendemos que la situación que vivió fue incómoda, y por ello, en el momento en que nos contactó (23:00h), el personal de recepción le ofreció los medios disponibles para poder solventarla de la mejor manera posible, facilitándole utensilios de limpieza. Ya que como le indicamos, a esas horas no hay servicio de limpieza.

En cuanto a la posibilidad de un cambio de habitación, lamentablemente, cuando el hotel está al completo, no es factible ofrecer esa alternativa de cambio. No obstante, con el fin de proporcionarles mayor comodidad, se les permitió realizar el check-out más tarde de la hora establecida, a las 13:30 en lugar de las 12:00.

Lamentamos que esta atención no haya sido suficiente para usted y que su percepción de nuestro servicio haya sido negativa. No obstante, consideramos que hemos actuado dentro de las posibilidades y protocolos de un hotel de nuestra categoría, por lo que la solicitud de compensación no procede.

Le agradecemos sus comentarios, ya que nos ayudan a mejorar, y esperamos que, si en el futuro decide volver a alojarse con nosotros, podamos ofrecerle una experiencia más acorde a sus expectativas.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok, ok size and clean. Location was perfect for us and very close to the city center and public transportation.
