Room was so clean. The price was quite expensive, but not that much for hotel's location and lakeview room.

This hotel consists of 3 separate houses, so each individual experience may be a slightly different one depending in which house one stays. We stayed in the "Seethaler House". Each room here supposedly has a view on the lake. In any case, ours had but it's good to know that the lake is a bit away - it's not that the lake is directly at the hotel.

The room was spacious, really peaceful and quiet and nicely decorated - it had a very luxurious feeling about it. Everything was nice and clean, as one would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. What was a mild nuisance: in the reservation we mentioned that we would use the room for 3 people, and as such asked for an extra bed to be put in the room. The bed was there upon checkin, but towels and toiletries only for 2 people. This obviously was missed and should have been picked up by the staff. As we only could occupy the room late and left the next day, we didn't bother to ask the night reception for extra amenities but I think the staff missed a beat here.

We also experienced a blackout due to a blown fuse - apparently not uncommon as the maintenance man immediately knew the cause - switching on the light too quickly might cause a tripped fuse. Right. Maybe time for a review of the system.

Overall a very pleasant experience, and would definitely stay here again - not in the least because of the very convenient location and the minor nuisances.... well, adds to the charm I guess.

Lovely with no real problem other than long delay in checking in as only one receptionist and a large group arriving just before me.
