Great value hotel with a wonderfully warm welcome. Convenient for the old town. Very comfortable bed and enjoyable breakfast. Will definitely return when next in Bruges.

Inmejorable!!! El encanto del hotel, la limpieza, la ubicación, el desayuno... pero sobre todo la atención y amabilidad del personal. Realmente encantadores y detallistas. GRACIAS!!

Love the design of the room and location. Very quiet and clean. Only hiccup was an ask to cover the 2 euro in VAT tax. Since I had paid via booking.com I was quite surprised to hear that. I unfortunately did not have that and the reception didn’t want to put it on credit card so i paid with my home currency instead.just a head’s up.

Madam, Thank you for staying with us...nice to read you have liked the room and the location of the hotel. just to say that we do serve hard boiled eggs for breakfast. concerning the city tax, this is a pain for us too to ask each time for this tax to the guest but this needs to be paid in the hotel afterall. if you have paid your room in advance through f.i. booking.com the hotel is then only covered to debet the roomprice without city tax or other extra's. we hope to welcome you again in the hotel someday. The Konig Albert 1 is a wonderful, small, quaint hotel. The location is walking distance from the train station, and close to the main street to the Square. The bathrooms are beautiful!!!!!

Het verblijf was super. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt was lekker.
