We think the hotel advertises with the modern, good looking zones, but in real life we were NOT in those pretty areas but only in the old. The rooms in the vis a vis are a totally different experience than in the main building. I would never have expected the difference to be so big. Also for dinner we were placed in an old fashioned area. On our request, we could change to the modern part which we appreciated a lot. Our room also gave SO much noise from the street also during the night. The curtains were not enough to block the lights from the machines to clean the streets from the snow, so sometimes we woke up around 4 because of them.
We are very sorry that your expectations regarding the rooms were not met and that you found the differences between the building sections to be so significant. Your comments about the noise and light at night, which disrupted your sleep, are particularly important to us. We understand very well how valuable relaxation is on vacation and take your feedback very seriously.
We would like to mention that all of our room categories are presented with corresponding pictures in our offers and on our website, so it is visible in which building the respective category is located. February is a high-demand period, and depending on availability, we are unfortunately not always able to allocate rooms in the main building. Nevertheless, we fully understand your preference and regret that we did not meet your expectations in this regard.
For any future stay, we have now added a note to your profile indicating your preference for a room in the main building. We will, of course, be happy to take this into consideration for a new booking.
At the same time, we are pleased that our team responded flexibly and accommodatingly to your request regarding dinner, and that you were ultimately able to dine in your preferred area. Thank you also for your positive feedback regarding cleanliness, service, and our location.
