We needed a hotel for an overnight stay whilst travelling by train from UK to Italy. This hotel worked really well for us as it was convenient for the station, sightseeing and dinner. Staff very pleasant. Room as expected.

This was my 8th year staying at Bristol. Your female staff have been welcoming, friendly and helpful. Herr XY is the glaring exception. I had emailed Bristol to confirm our reservations in June. Hr XY emailed back there was no availability. It was X who had to confirm our reservations when I emailed back the confirmation number. I spoke to Herr XY about it. He basically said it was my fault for not wording my email properly. He did not apologize. When I asked to reserve a shuttle bus to the airport the next day he called in the wrong time. When I said it was the wrong time he grudgingly corrected it, again without apology. Herr XY has no concept of service and is in no way up to Swiss standards and the standards of your fine hotel.
