Just wonderful. We are counting the days to be back in our dearest village of Camogli and the incredible hotel Cenobio dei Dogi.

Location and views stunning. Service and staff all very good. Stayed 3 times in classic sea view rooms, this time fellows guests noise levels unacceptable and questions the sound proofing of the hotel. Also questions why would hotel place guests underneath a family who had obviously had children( teens) in a room of their own who walked and jumped about to midnight only stopping when we rung reception. Retired couple want a quiet room out the way not amongst a family environment of noise

We were recommended to stay at Cenobio dei Dogi by some Italian friends from Genoa. (We had to cancel twice during Covid but the hotel raised no problems over this.) Camogli is an ideal place to explore the Riviera di Levante - close enough to Portofino and the Cinque Terre but far enough away from the crowds of foreign tourists. Camogli itself is a delightful little town with a port and a (stony) beach, excellent links to nearby destinations by boat and rail, some good restaurants and not overrun with tourists (the season was not yet in full swing). The hotel is ideally situated at the end of the beach with splendid views over the bay and town with Genoa and the Alps in the distance. Our room was exactly what we wanted - reasonably spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our 5 day stay. The seawater pool is heated and looks out over the bay. Although we did not dine in the restaurant, the hotel provide an excellent breakfast in the main dining room with panoramic views. Two smaller restaurants operate during the season and the hotel also has a comfortable bar and lounge. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return if we are again in the region..

We really enjoyed our stay. But two major issues for us:
1. We have 2 small children and we couldn’t get food until 7.45pm. When we ordered room service we were charged 24EUR for delivery ( which was discounted). This is ridiculous charge when people have no other options.
2. The gentlemen around the pool where no nice. Constantly watching my wife and children. We couldn’t relax because of them constantly watching us. My wife also didn’t want to swim because of them.
