Location and facilities are a must. The room we got was a bit small and the bed was hard even after our request to obtain a softer one.

Die gepflegte Hotelanlage bietet alles, was man sich für einen entspannten Urlaub an der ligurischen Riviera wünscht, und wartet mit einem traumhaften Privatstrand auf. Das Ensemble ist stilvoll dekoriert und das Interieur der Zimmer in einem eleganten Stil gehalten. Das Personal war vom Concierge über die Rezeptionistinnen bis zu den Gouvernanten stets sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionel. Wir schätzten die abwechslungsreiche Vielfalt am Frühstücksbuffet mit allem, was das Herz begehert und einer fantastischen Aussicht auf den Golf von Genua. Nicht zuletzt hat das Restaurant «Giulia» mit einer ruhigen Ambiance, einem ausgezeichneten Service und erstklassigen Gerichten unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es war perfekt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Cenobio del Dogi in vollen Zügen genossen.

Fantastisk personale, fantastisk mad, og tilpas med gæster, så det ikke virkede for fyldt ved strand sengene. Dette var det bedste ved hotellet, at der var plads til gæsterne, hvor mange hoteller overbooker, så det bliver ubekvemt.

We had a very enjoyable stay thank you - the room had a beautiful view, it was quiet & kept clean. The breakfasts were good (especially the pastries :)), the gardens lovely and the private beaches were excellent. We did not use the pool as we swam in the sea which was lovely. In terms of what you could improve 1) the information in the hotel room was about COVID and so a bit out of date - it would have been good to have more information about the restaurants and bars in the hotel - menus, prices, opening times, reservations etc. We did not eat in the hotel, but would have been more likely to do so had we had some information about them 2) the coffee, tea & water were lacking & not replaced in the room on a daily basis. We stayed in some other 4* hotels that had Nespresso machines during our holiday which would obviously have been better too 3) we would prefer refillable shower gel etc - most modern hotels are making an effort to reduce plastic waste & the little plastic bottles are really unnecessary.
