Perfect location, lovely hotel. Just a shame that one member of staff would stop us from returning. A smile costs nothing!

I really enjoyed my stay in Venice and in general i had a good stay at Da Bruno because i just wanted to have a good stay and not because the hotel helped me for that.
The very first night i did not like my room (there were 2 single beds and i wanted just a double one as i just asked and paid) and i had been moved the in a new one the following night which i liked it very much. Thank very much you for this!
But i would like to leave an another comment.
The reception in general was impersonal. I remember when i arrived, it was raining and when i got into the hotel sopping wet for the check in, no one gave a smile or even say a buon giorno and when they gave me the key of the room no one offered to help me with my suitcases that i did not need it but it is not polite to welcome someone like that. Also the complimantary that they offered, no one told me that the juices were for us and i was shy to ask if they were for us so i did not drink them. In general it was hard for them to smile and say hi. I was always saying hi or bye first.
I would like also to thank the lady that works for the breakfasts. She is a hard worker and i told her when i left from there. Take her of her. She is trying her best alone.
