With one exception, this was a wonderful apartment. It is located only a minute or so from the Rialto bridge. On the fifth floor, with four locked doors separating it from the piazzetta outside, it was certainly secure. The new-appearing elevator provided efficient access. The apartment was spacious, secure, clean, comfortable, well-lit, with great wifi. Views over the rooftops were wonderful. Our request to the personnel to schedule a taxi for transport to the airport was handled quite nicely, with the taxi picking us up prior to the appointed time just a few meters from the front door of the apartment building. The one exception was the plumbing. There was almost no hot water. There were instructions on the bathroom wall for dealing with the known problem. We were there for 7 days. Following the instructions, we managed to take brief, barely warm showers some mornings. On three mornings, we were unable to obtain any hot water at all. If this problem can be corrected, the apartment would be fantastic and we would consider returning next year.
