Very calm environment in a very convenient location for centre of the town and chateau with pleasant staff, however the breakfast at 12 euros seemed expensive despite the broad choice.
Indeed, we must underline:
- first, that it is not mandatory. This is why it is not included in the price of the room because we fully understand that some of our customers who have breakfast with a simple coffee have no interest in our buffet formula,
- then, as you yourself indicate, that our buffet is very varied: more than 25 different products,
- finally, that it is exclusively composed of local products (whenever possible organic, from sustainable agriculture or homemade) or from fair trade for tea and coffee (the latter also being roasted by hand in Azay).
All of this obviously comes at a price. And compared to the industrial and tasteless breakfasts often served for 10 to 11 in hotels of the same category, our price of 12.50 stills more than reasonable.
