We had booked an Executive Room which looked nice on the website. When we arrived at room 234 we were very disappointed as it did not resemble the photos on the website. It was small, dark, no soft furnishings (bed throw/cushion etc). We returned to Reception and were shown 2 alternative Executive Rooms (1 made up & ready, the other had recently been vacated). We chose the clean room, 224, which was brighter and larger with a nicer view - albeit overlooking the bus depot but this was an improvement on the view from 234. It did not feel like a 4* hotel as there were no 'nice touches' such as soft furnishings. More like a clean, friendly, functional 3*. In addition, the shower leaked as the seals did not fit properly.
It is also important to note it is in the middle of a fairly run down industrial estate with no where to comfotably walk to for dinner, partially from a safety point of view.
