Liked everything very much. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and it is good to see a hotel investing in and supporting its junior staff from the local area. We will be back! The hotel has style and class- local and historic features have been maintained whilst every modern convenience is provided.

Bien évidemment nous retournerons vous voir car nous sommes fidèles depuis des années ..mais il faudra que le service à table soit vraiment plus respectueux du travail des cuisiniers, et de nous !

Very positive
The staff is fantastic. Very attentive and welcoming
Taking a shower while standing in the tub is very dangerous. The surface is very slippery, had to hang on to the bar while washing.

La photo en façade de l'hôtel ne prend pas en compte le bâtiment ancien ou se trouve la chambre 52 ( au 3ème étage ) qui nous à été réservée .L'absence d'ascenseur devrait-être signalée. Grave oubli ! Le prix n'étant pas notre principal critère nous aurions pu porter notre choix sur une autre chambre. Quelle déconvenue !

The location is excellent with views of La Falaise's de Etretat which can not be beaten. The hotel is a short walk from the town with restaurants and shops and also easy access to walk the coast path and view the cliffs.
The hotel really needs some investment in refurbishing the rooms, in particular the bathrooms and balconies. These features do not fit the price point. The bathroom is tired with tiles that need re grouting, a toilet was seriously stained, extractor fan didn't work, heated towel rail didn't work etc. The balcony was probably the most disappointing as we were unable to enjoy the views due to a continual drip from the balcony above which dripped rusty brown water down onto our balcony. The rooms were made up very late each day, returning from a full day coastal walk at 3pm to find the room not made up. I found the front desk staff generally unhelpful with the exception of one gentleman who was excellent and the other staff could really learn a lot from him.
