Hotel Dos Playas Faranda Cancún

Wonderful! Except the first night one on the rooms (2401?) smelled like strong paint smell so we asked to move and you were very helpful and moved us to a great room the next day.

Very good but too many cockroaches in the room.

Very noisy outside the room one night. There was a wedding with lights and loud music until midnight.

Very nice. Staff were very accommodating. Only issue was getting coffee before restaurant opens at 7 am

Fantastic 95% of staff very lovely and welcoming, only issue was short slim person at front desk forgot his name was very rude and arrogant. Special mention to José at the bar above any beyond every time. house cleaning very patient kind and respectful. Deal breaker for me is AC and it was perfect room was like a fridge, menu could do with fall back foods incase you don't enjoy seafood etc I suggest burger fried chicken and chips every night, Sun beds were a major issue the hotel should address people leave their towels over night and go for excursions the next day not returning to the bed until 16:00 when ever we wanted a bed which wasn't often there was 25% people 75% Towels for hours pathetic, location was excellent right beside beach, Isla mujeres, bus stop, pharmacy with free doctor!,money exchange shop (Oxxo) convience store, Bus is only 12 pesos, Rooms are evidently old and not classy but this is clearly reflected in the price they offer great rate, they are very clean tho and maintained, I love small resorts Dos Playa is big enough to cope small enough to care beats the big franchises all day. I would definitely book here again.

I had a fantastic time at the Dos Playas Faraday. The staff were amazing, especially Antonio at the restaurant, they all made my birthday (10th February 25) extra special, from the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff who decorated my room, and provided me with a lovely slice of birthday cake 🍰. I want to say I am truly grateful and blessed that they made my stay memorable for my first time in Cancun xx
