Rooms are OK but a nice hotel like this how would not serve a coffee and tea machine and some bathroom amenities such as toothbrush etc.
All the rest is Good and nice people and smiling faces at every corner

5th time here, both for Christmas markets and Oktoberfest. Location is phenomenal for both, only negative is the construction around the train station and across street. Breakfast buffet is pricey, especially with a lack of hot meats.

Hotel mit sehr guter Lage (direkt an der U-Bahn-Station), sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal am Empfang, gut isolierte, saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer
Das Restaurant ist auch zu empfehlen, nicht ganz günstig, aber Service und Qualität sind top.

Very good, but one reason I booked The Excelsior was I remembered a very pleasant little bar which is now closed. The Vinotec does not work as a bar in the same way. As a woman travelling alone a comfortable and friendly bar to sit and have a drink is very welcome . But it’s a lovely hotel. And the fact that it’s family run shows.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Mit der Klimaanlage kam ich nicht zurecht. Im Bad war es sehr kalt.Beschwerde beim Portiere hat nichts gebracht.
