Would think in a hotel at your standard each room would have some coffee/tea making facilities.
A Nespresso machine would be excellent. Many hotels now have this as standard.
Your desk staff are ok but a couple of them didn't say hello or acknowledge us as we entered hotel a couple of times over the 3 days we were there. A couple of them were very good but very robotic without a genuine feeling.
Over the probably 20 yrs I've been staying at the Excelsior your staff have been of a higher standard. The best 2 were the porters who helped with our luggage.

Great, clean, beautiful hotel just steps away from the train that can take you anywhere in Munich. Was very convenient for our stay for Oktoberfest.

De omgeving van het hotel is op dit moment, door diverse bouwwerken, een ramp ! Hotel is prima.

Unsere Erfahrungen im Excelsior sind immer prima gewesen (2× Hotel Ana, 2x Excelsior). Meiner Meinung nach ist Das Dienstpersonal "Tabellenführer" der Hotel Ketten. Als Amerikaner genießen wir die Gastfreundlichkeit, die Gemütlichkeit, und die Bequemlichkeit bei jedem Excelsior Aufenthalt.

Hotel is functional and clean and tidy
Very expensive during Octoberfest with double room rates
