Less than 50 metres from the entrance to the train station yet it's so quiet. My room overlooked the courtyard so that probably helped however it was the perfect size and level of comfort.

Breakfast was of a good standard and there's plenty of staff on hand.

Overall a wonderful start to my 60th birthday adventure.

Das Hotel ist schön und detailreich. Allerdings sind die Zimmer zur Straße ist zu laut & zu kalt im Herbst. Ohrstöpsel auf dem Zimmer wären gut.

This was a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom! The only negative was the staff in the wine bar was actually pretty rude.

Hospitality, welcome service are going down pretty fast. In 15 years off a regular stay in Excelsior I see ptices going up and overall service is going down. Excelsior and the Vinothek 😬 is notnanynlongerbthe place to be with a high standard of hospitality and service. Although with regret I wiil search for an other hotel next year duting Expo Real. Lastvdays I spent over
€ 8000, - in Excelsior.

Beim Einchecken war der Empfangsmitarbeiter mittelmäßig freundlich, eine ausgedruckte Rechnung bekam ich erst auf Nachfrage, das Zimmer war dunkel und klein, der AUsblick auf die gegenüberleigende Fassade nah.

Very good, a hidden pearl in Munich. Only minor: if you do not book the breakfast (Excellent buffet!) in advance because you do not know how many mornings you will join ( I had 2 instead of the 4 nights), they ask you to pay € 29,- instead of € 25,-. So absolutly weird, because you can not book for 2 mornings breakfast. and two mornings not?
