I had an issue at check in. I was given a single room when my booking through Stayforlong said double or twin. The first receptionist said that I'd only paid for a single room and was somewhat officious. The manager (?) said they would honour my booking and allocated me a double room. The first receptionist asked if I'd used anything in the initial room. Apart from this the stay was comfortable, good choice at breakfast and good location. Just spoiled by the manner of one member of staff.

Bonne expérience. Des rideaux plus occultants seraient un plus. Bon hôtel mais qui commence à sentir le poids de son âge. Très bon accueil et super petit déjeuner . Très bonne localisation.

Attractive hotel, decorated throughout with interesting artwork. Front-desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Overall, I'd gladly use this hotel again.

The receptionists were all helpful when I needed it, the breakfast selection was very nice and no problems with the room and Wi-Fi. Had a great stay at the hotel.

I really enjoyed my few days at Hotel Holt. It is superbly situated in Reykjavik. The sitting rooms are very comfortable. A special shout-out for Gabrielle who greeted my on my arrival and who was so helpful getting me settled and oriented. Thanks Gabrielle, Thanks all.
