Average - but would suspect this is down to our need for a family room which was unfortunately located on ground level. It was an extremely hot room, No Aircon and could not open windows as looked out onto hotel entrance so lots of people walking straight past and hence no privacy. I suspect the other rooms are likely good - but the family room is less than ideal.

We are sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Indeed, there is no air conditioning in our rooms, because high temperatures are extremely rare in Saint-Malo and for environmental reasons, we prefer not to install any at the moment. The location of the hotel being privileged facing the sea, the sea breeze is usually enough to satisfy our guests. But fans are available from reception.
