Hôtel Le Plaza

Good - Better if water was provided each day in the room or if there was a means to refill. No AC so not sure about staying in the summer

I would say it was a good stay.
I found the hotel almost too quiet - perhaps not a busy week as few guests in and around ground floor. Also, lack of music in lobby made it feel almost desolate.
I mentioned to the front desk team that there was a smell of sewage upon entry. This was the case for each of the days of our stay. The smell was in the entry/lobby area only (not on second floor or in guest room).

I had made mention that the stay was to celebrate a 60th birthday and while I appreciate complimentary in room gifts/treats are not expected, as someone in the hospitality industry, a note card and some local chocolate would have been a very nice touch.

The hotel has a style we like very much. The staff is very kind.

Never have I experienced such awful conditions in a 4* hotel. NEVER! No restaurant! No half the meals available from the menu!!! No tea or cups in the room!!! Not a single socket in the bathroom!!!!!!! Broken lock dating back to WW 1 !

Apart from the good location, there's nothing good. It's said there's a window and it's arranged on the second floor, with a courtyard outside.The room is very small and the facilities are old. The room types in other hotels at the same price are much better.

The experience was very very positive. The hotel décor is very pleasant, the room silent, clean, spacious. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable.
