thank you for your feedback. You booked a double room (designated for two people) and arrived with your child (not mentioned when the booking was made). Our policy implies that children between 0-1,99 years are free of charge in the bed of their parents (also indicated on our website). Your child was already older than two years - which means a triple room is needed. The law specifies that every person has to have their own bed (comparable with booking a flight - every person has to have their own seat). Just for clarification: in case of a fire for example, we would commit an insurance fraud, if more people are staying in a room than designated. And this is nobody´s intention ...
We are always trying to act or react to our customer´s welfare. We had simpathy for your family and culantly arranged a very special price deal exceptionally for you as well as an upgrade to a superior double room (instead of your booked standard double room). It is up to you, if you appreciate our courtesy or not. If not, maybe we are not the right hotel or host family for you.
We also informed your chosen booking platform about your misentry and your displeased behaviour when we tried to point out the situation.
