A good experience.
The downside is the lack of lounge or indoor bar where we can sit / chat to other guests/ read or play cards, perhaps around a fire.

This would have greatly enhanced our experience. The hotel is lacking ‘soul’ in this respect v

We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel and no real complaints. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was very clean throughout. All staff were polite and friendly.
