10/10 even with the dings on quality of the room (outside bed frame was broken, safe could have easily been taken out of the room; but bed was usable and cleaned regularly, safe wasn’t used because of how safe the hotel felt), the internet service (lots of internet issues due to the location of our room), and check-in (they couldn’t find my reservation made through AngelesHealth at first, but I thankfully had my local hospital coordinator with me to translate!). The smell of the Tijuana River affected the experience but that is on the Mexican government to give a damn about for the health and safety of the locals breathing the air and drinking the water every day, not the responsibility of the hotel. Everyone on staff was very nice and willing to help me with my very limited, childish Spanish. The food was phenomenal and there were many delicious options that fit my new medical diet. UberEats and rides were easy to coordinate. The pool was beautiful and all outside areas were cleaned around the clock. My cards kept deactivating but it was never a hassle to request new ones and gave me a reason to walk after surgery. Would love to come here again after another emergency medical procedure.

Overall we were very comfortable except the toilet seat needs to be replaced. It would move sideways. All else was comfortable.

The staff runs the place like a well oiled machine. Please don’t leave a push broom leaning in the lobby where I can trip over it. The fan system in my room is very loud and needs replacing. Tell cleaning staff not to remove garbage in the restaurant right in front of me while I am eating (Christmas at main restaurant). The man delivering room service this time was in such a hurry it made me uncomfortable- he needs to learn to slow down when dealing with customers.
Otherwise, I think the place is like an oasis in Tj. I love the whole landscaping of the pool area, kind staff and would live there full time if I could!
