Hermannplatz may not be top of Berlin's must-visit tourist destinations - the area's, er, mixed - but it's great for public transport links and Hotel L van B is a real find. Close to U7 U-Bahn, good for airport. Right next door are a mini-supermarket, ATM and decent Italian restaurant. I'll be back. Recommended.

Very friendly staff who always make us welcome. We use this hotel every time we stay in Berlin. It's very central and in a very nice area.

There was a room across from ours that was under construction sawing and hammering early in the morning. We complained and all that was said was sorry no option to change rooms

However, we sincerely apologize for the disturbance caused by the construction work and for not being able to offer you an alternative room. We understand how important a peaceful stay is and regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
