I was not happy about bread/cakes open to the air at breakfast and being eaten by birds...it’s not hygienic!!

Reception was generally ok, twice we had taxi issues. We booked a package holiday via BA and paid for taxi transfer. On day we left we arrived in reception and were told our taxi arrived. We got in to car and when we arrived at airport the driver demanded to be paid. We called reception and they were unhelpful. We are out of pocket, it left us feeling conned. Is there a scam going on. Perhaps BA need to be advised. I await to hear from you.

I thank you for taking the time to express your sentiment here. As you know, we attach great importance to each of the comments and respond to all. This is how we try to better ourselves. This being said, I would like to answer your remarks the best way possible. Firstly, our riad offers one of the largest, most secluded and exotic gardens, minutes away from the Médina. The breakfast terrace opens on this oasis which shelters a unique fauna. The “Tibibt” you mention, is a familiar bird from Morocco. It is a sacred bird that no one can touch, even its cry is heared as a sacred song and we feel fortunate to have him around. Regarding the taxis from and to the Airport, it is without a doubt, an unfortunate communication. On the day you left, you asked for a taxi at 16h30 to take you to the Airport, while another taxi booked by yourself or your Travel Agency came to pick you up at 16h55. You never mentioned to the reception this second booking which I assume, would have been included in your Holiday Package. I am sorry for this inconvenience, but no one is perfect and we are not immune from mistakes, but I find your allegations offensive and totally unjustified. Our house has made ethics its way of operating, in our management of personnel and of course, in our relations with clients. Your accusation is simply grotesque!

very pleasant and relaxing after the hussle of the main town

Voor les Jardins de la medina wil ik terug naar Marrakech! Het ontvangst is een ontzettend vriendelijk en warm welkom. Daarnaast is de ambiance, sfeer, het voortreffelijke eten en de oase van rust in de tuin van het hotel geweldig. Het personeel legt de gasten in de watten en zorgt voor een onvergetelijk verblijf. Ook mijn derde verblijf in het hotel was weer geweldig. Een vierde bezoek komt er hopelijk snel!

We stayed at the hotel for five nights with our two teenagers and had the most lovely experience. The staff were amazing. The hotel arranged our airport transportation and a guide for the souks (which was incredible!). They also arranged a driver to take us to the coasts one day. The restaurant was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. I also went to the spa for a Hammam and a massage which were terrific. Overall we could not have been happier.

There is nothing I can add to your beautiful comment but a sincere thank you! I’m delighted we fulfil the expectations of your whole family. It has been a pleasure to have helped making your stay with us and your visit to our amazing region, a unique and memorable experience. The breakfast was a bit chaotic in terms of service (we were often taking cutlery / napkins from other tables), and trying to chase down the staff in order to get a tea or coffee. For the price the variety was ok, but not great (very limited fresh fruit on offer for example), and the fresh juice machine was very very slow, and therefore not really very useful!
A little bit more organisation would help at breakfast, as all the staff were very friendly.

I thank you for taking the time to write to us. I’m sincerely sorry that your breakfast experience was not up to your expectations. Our staff is trained to answer your needs and our breakfast menu offers a large range of cold and hot dishes. I must agree however, the choice of seasonal fresh fruit is not as large as it is later in the year. All your remarks have been heard and had my full consideration. Be assured that I will do my best to take any action to meet your wishes. This is how we improve. Our staff had great pleasure looking after you, your return to Les Jardins de la Médina will be our greatest reward. See you soon!

Loved the sun terrace, and design of the room. It would be nice not to be rationed with tea-bags or coffee pods; as it seems a little odd to barter with my friend in the morning who was going to get the only Earl Gray!

Reception staff and room staff were particularly helpful and friendly. My friend was ill during our stay, and all staff were really helpful and incredibly kind, and ensured that she got a doctor and then made sure she was ok.
