Abgesehen von der Zimmerlage (s.o.) war es für mich ungewohnt, keine 24h Rezeption und abends keine Bar zu finden, wo man noch mal 2-3 Menschen findet und den Abend ausklingen lassen kann. Das habe ich leider vermisst. Ansonsten: Das Zimmer also solches hat mir sehr gut gefallen und das Frühstück ebenfalls!

Der Aufenthalt war wie immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Hotel Metropol sowie auch das Schwesterhotel Mirabell nur weiterempfehlen.

The ambience of the hotel was old world charm from the excellent service from staff to the stunning comfort of the rooms. This did not detract from a sense of “cosiness” in the rooms that appeared soundproof and provided me with everything I needed for my stay. Proximity to the train station was a bonus, and the location off the main
Road meant not dealing with constant traffic. A perfect place to stay for overnight or a longer stay.
