We had a very positive experience! The staff were friendly and helpful, we loved being able to self-stock our room, the bedding was comfortable and clean, breakfast was amazing, and we adored our balcony! The coffee in the lobby was a great perk! Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend the Metropol highly!

Enjoyable stay in a comfortable hotel only a short from the main station and centre of the old town.

Sehr gutes Hotel. Top Lage direkt beim Bahnhof, aber in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße ohne großen Verkehrslärm. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Hotelausstattung ist geschmackvoll und modern und alles sehr sauber. Für Geschäftsreisende sehr gut geeignet.

An outstanding breakfast with many traditional German foods. The host and hostess did a fantastic job of cleaning up and helping keep the food fresh and hot.

I booked this hotel due to the breakfast bar reviews. It did not disappoint. Loved that there were a variety of options for vegetarians and lots of healthy choices - greek yogurt, nuts and fruit for toppings, delicious breads & cheeses. The check in people were great. It's very convenient to get to and from the main train station, and also very walkable to get to other places.
