I very rarely complain. I work in the industry myself and understand how it can be, however I have been so disappointed in my stay that I simply had to say something, the room, the price, the false hope all adding up to a really poor visit to a city I had been excited to visit for so long. Completely let down.
Thank you very much for your review and for your email, which we have received. Of course we read your email carefully.
We would like to respond to your criticism. First of all, our rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures on our website and on Booking.com. They are clean, functional, and well equipped—as confirmed by numerous other guests.
Since only one person was booked for your room, there was of course only one duvet available. If you had needed a second blanket or additional pillows—soft or hard—we would have been happy to provide them at any time. However, we can only fulfill requests if you ask us.
Our mini market also offers a wide range of toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and other hygiene items. The same applies here: just ask, and we will help you right away.
Regarding the “minibar”: we clearly communicate that this is a refrigerator. Beverages are available in our mini market, where they can be selected and then individually cooled. Many guests appreciate this solution, as it allows them to store their own purchases in a cool place—at the same time, we avoid unnecessary food waste.
Regarding room cleaning: your booking confirmation already stated that daily cleaning is not provided during your stay. Nevertheless, you could have picked up fresh towels at any time from one of our two housekeeping stations—one of which was located directly on your

In the booking confirmation, you will also find a link to our own hotel app, where all the information is listed and you can even order toiletries and similar items directly. We will also send you a pre-arrival email two days before your arrival, explaining all the details.
With regard to prices, we would like to point out that your stay coincided with a trade fair. During this period, we offered you and your family special rates. Of course, every guest is free to choose the hotel that best suits their personal preferences and desired price range.
We also found it unfortunate that our team lovingly prepared your complimentary decorated breakfast table for your family especially for your father, of course, but that you did not appreciate it at all. We also wrote a birthday card and placed two high-quality hearts from the chocolate company “Läderach” in the room as a small gift.
It is also regrettable that nothing was mentioned at check-out. Our colleague even asked if everything was okay, but this question was answered in the affirmative. We would have liked you to address your concerns directly, especially since you stayed with us for three days. This would have allowed us to respond immediately and make your stay much more pleasant.
In summary: many issues could have been resolved quickly and easily with a single conversation. Since this did not happen, we can only recommend that you choose a 4- or 5-star hotel for future trips in order to have your expectations met.
