Sehr persönlich geführtes Haus in zentraler Lage. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und persönlich-freundlich, das ist leider heutzutage selten geworden! Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr vielseitiges und leckeres Frühstück. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

The experience was great! My complaint is that I was told Expedia was involved when I thought that I had booked directly with you

Thank you for your kind words about our team and for sharing your feedback.
We would like to clarify one important point regarding your booking. Reservations made directly with us are processed directly through our hotel and not through Expedia or any other third-party provider. It would of course not make sense for us to involve a third party in a direct booking.
The only website through which direct bookings with us can be made is www.maierprivathotels.de. If a reservation is made through another website, it may be redirected to or processed by a third-party provider, which is outside the hotel's control.

Regarding the beds, we offer different bed types throughout the hotel. In the category you booked, the room is equipped with one large bed, with the two mattresses connected by a topper. We also did not receive any information prior to your arrival that you required the bed to be separated. Had we known this in advance, we would have been happy to note your preference and discuss suitable alternatives with you before arrival.
Furthermore, your reservation specifically indicated a preference for a KING bed, which is exactly what was provided. For this reason, we do not believe there was an error on the hotel's part in this regard.
We are nevertheless sorry that there was confusion surrounding the booking and the bed arrangement, and we appreciate your feedback.
