It was good, the best was the location at the side of the train station, but a little far from Marienplatz

The train station can be reached within 2-5 minutes on foot and the Marienplatz is reachable within 15 minutes. We would love to host you again someday in the future.

wir möchten uns für Ihren Besuch bei uns im Metropol bedanken. Schön, dass es Ihnen sehr gut bei uns gefallen hat und Sie die freundliche Atmosphäre bei uns im Haus gemocht und geschätzt haben. Die zentrale Lage und Nähe zum Zentrum und somit zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten Münchens macht das Metropol als Stadthotel sehr attraktiv. Klasse, dass auch Sie das so empfunden haben. The hotel is located on a great central location. Staff were friendly and our room was spotless clean that said the smell of cigarette smoke in our room was awful, we tolerated it because our stay was short. The hotel should ask guests if they want a smoking or non smoking room as default. Other than that and the small bathroom/shower issue it is a lovely hotel.

thanks for choosing Metropol while visiting Munich. We are glad you liked your stay and found the central location a plus. Our staff was happy to make you feel welcome. Reading that there was a smell of cigarette in your room shocks us. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms and we never allow guests to smoke inside our rooms. It's allowed to smoke on the balcony. Maybe the window was open and the smell came from outside? I can not imagine that there was another reason for the cigarette smoke as our housekeeping would have let us know after cleaning the room. Anyway we are sorry for the negative experience you had due to this issue.

70er Jahre Hotel, aufgehübscht, nicht immer stilvoll

Lieber Wolfgang,

danke für Ihren Besuch und Ihre Bewertung. Es freut uns, dass Sie zufrieden mit Ihre Hotelwahl waren, das Frühstück sehr genossen haben, mehr als zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit im Haus waren und zufrieden mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis waren. Wir werden den Kühlschrank in Ihrem Zimmer überprüfen. Danke für den Hinweis. Und über Geschmack lässt sich bekanntlich streiten. ;) Wir haben sehr viel positives Lob zu unseren neuen gestalteten Zimmern erhalten und auch wir finden, dass diese sehr gut gelungen sind. Unser gesamtes Haus wird seit längerem peu à peu renoviert. Schon beim Ihrem nächsten Besuch wird Ihnen das bestimmt positiv auffallen.

Love the fresh fruits and vegetables Juicers.
Love the wide variety of food choices, including no lactose milk.
Friendly staff at the breakfast area.
