The experience was below average with the poor room assignment and extra check which I felt was not necessary with the advance online checkin and passport info already provided to the front desk. Not sure why would he need to peruse the email on my phone from the 3rd party booking site. Most annoying was that we were assigned a room at a poor location after all the checks.

Regarding your early check-in request, we would like to provide some context. We did everything possible to have a room ready for you by 10:00 a.m. However, as the hotel was fully booked the night before, it is unfortunately not always possible to have rooms available early in the morning. Our guaranteed check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and any early check-in remains subject to availability.
To accommodate your request, our housekeeping team prioritized preparing the first available room in the category you had booked so that you could access your room as early as possible. While we always do our best to honor preferences such as a higher floor, these requests are non-guaranteed and depend on room availability. In your case, no other room in your booked category on a higher floor could be made ready by 10:00 a.m., which is why Room 103 was assigned.
We also regret that the additional verification during check-in caused frustration. Even when guests complete the online check-in in advance, we may occasionally need to verify booking details, particularly for reservations made through third-party providers. This is part of our procedures to ensure the booking information is accurate and to protect our guests' reservations.

Sehr gut. Zentral aber ruhige Lage, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben.

Toll, dass Sie die Annehmlichkeiten Ihre Suite sowie das schöne Bad sehr genossen haben. Wir verstehen, dass die zu Ihrem Reisezeitpunkt abegrufenen Preise hoch waren. Wie Sie auch richtig wahrgenommen haben, variieren unsere Preise je nach Saison und Nachfrage. We enjoyed our stay. The free coffee and water and the welcome drink are a nice touch.
