Schönes Hotel, tolles Frühstück, perfekte Lage nah am Hauptbahnhof, dennoch ruhig. Mit einem sagenhaft guten Fühstück.

Copied from my Tripadvisor review: We were very fortunate to have found the Hotel Metropol for our first trip to Munich. It is very very conveniently located for the Main Railway Station and also for the Lufthansa Express Bus from the airport (you just have to go through the station to the other side). Although it is very central it is on a side road and we did not hear any noise.

We were impressed even before we arrived. The hotel contacted us about the time of our arrival. As we were likely to arrive after 11pm when the reception closes they sent us instructions about accessing the hotel and the key codes. In fact we arrived at 10.30pm. We were greeted by a very cheerful member of staff named Thomas who was expecting us but had everything ready in case we were late. His welcome really made the start of our stay even though we never saw him again.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an ideal bathroom. There was plenty of wardrobe space and the safe worked without a problem. Bedding and towels are not changed every day but guests can request more frequent changes of towels. The wifi signal was a little weak but is a minor quibble.

Free tea and coffee and water are available in reception.

We only had breakfast in the hotel on our last day. If we had had on a previous day we might have come back again as it was a superb buffet (with a splendid variety of bread amongst other things).

All in all we would highly recommend it and will choose to come back if we return to Munich.

Ein sehr serviceorientiertes, extrem freundliches Privathotel im Zentrum Münchens. Eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und ein extrem reichhaltiges Frühstück runden das sehr gute Bild ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
