The area is slightly undesirable and was very noisy. It was very noisy at night, even with the windows closed and curtains drawn. The hotel itself is passable... but for the nightly fee, it could be a higher standard. It's the little details - not having a kettle in the room, having hand soap bottles you have to squeeze (unsanitary) and then the soap with such a strong masculine smell. Water glasses in the room so tiny you question what is the point. It could have been so much nicer if these little details were different.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your impressions with us in such detail. We are delighted that you had such a positive experience with our breakfast service staff in particular—we will be happy to pass on your special praise. We also thank you for your kind words about the helpfulness of our front desk team.
At the same time, we deeply regret that your stay did not meet your expectations in every respect. In particular, the hair you mentioned in the bathroom upon arrival certainly does not meet our standards. Please accept our apologies for this—we have already discussed your feedback internally with our housekeeping team.
Regarding the issue of noise, we would like to note that we replaced all windows in the building with modern triple-glazed windows just last year. When the windows are fully closed, outside noise is generally barely noticeable. Nevertheless, we ask for your understanding that, as a city hotel in an urban location, the surroundings—especially at night—cannot always be completely noise-free.
Regarding the lack of a kettle in the room, as part of our sustainability concept, we have made a conscious decision not to equip each room with individual appliances or capsule systems. Instead, a coffee and tea station, including hot water, is available to our guests in the lobby 24/7 free of charge and can be used at any time.
Like many hotels, we use refillable pump systems for our soap dispensers to reduce packaging waste and operate more sustainably. We certainly take your feedback regarding the scent and ease of use to heart.
Thank you again for your candid feedback. It is only through honest feedback that we can continue to improve. We would be delighted if you would give us another opportunity during a future stay to further impress you with our hotel.
Kind regards
Paula
