This is one of the hotels that could be so nice, if it wasn't the small things. By mistake I booked for 2 persons incl. breakfast. They could do nothing about it. No problem; my mistake.
Their mistakes:
I booked a room with bathtub, which also was confirmed. Didn't get it.
I paid for two breakfasts. Didn't even get a half one. Breakfast was served until 10 am. I came down at 09. No bread, and one cold egg left. The breakfast hostess poured coffee into my cup. I protested, and told her I'd like to wait with the coffee until after yoghurt and herbal tea. Please bring me a new pot, will you. Not possible; that was the last coffee. And we don't have herbal tea.
When I asked her for bread, she told me it was finished, and that I was late!! Late? It was one hour before closure.
I ate what was left of the poor breakfast, and went out to the reception to complaint about the treatment. The receptionist told me that the breakfast hostess was new, but still charged me for the two breakfasts I'd booked. No reduction, and no compensation. Well true: I booked two breakfasts, but they didn't even serve me one.
I'm increasingly surprised over seemingly decent hotels that fail with those little things, and their inability to make up for the failures. " Sorry that you didn't got what you paid for sir, and here is you invoice" is standard procedure mostly.
Miramar could be a nice place, and I could have given it at good review. But the little things just don't work. German hospitality out of order.
I paid €145. How much is a couple of Brötchens and a bag of tea? 1 euro tops.
Doesn't make sense.
