Exquisite! We had a lovely stay and wish we could have been there longer. The location in town and the room were perfect. The bed was nice and big and the linens and blanket quilt were excellent- I often hate a gross hotel blanket but the down quilt here was a treat! The patio area was lovely for the evenings and in the AM. Had we had time we surely would have gotten some Calvados and cheese and made the most of the lovely tables and furniture- the cat freaked me out a little, but we warmed up to each other! Thank you for such a fine stay and for making our time in Bayeux so pleasant. I will definitely recommend Reine Mathilde to others.

Nice lodging. Restaurant was very busy and service good but slow due to this. Food was OK.

Hôtel Reine Mathilde was fantastic, and the woman at the front desk was especially helpful, very thoughtful, and kind. This was our first trip to France, and we were confused about a couple of little things that turned out to be our own misunderstandings. But she was incredibly patient with us. I'll certainly recommend this hotel to friends and on social media. My daughter and I also fell in love with Bayeux.
