Overall we were very happy with our stay. I would recommend it to friends with caveats- if you have any issues that make climbing steps difficult ask for a first floor room. If you have lots of heavy luggage, ask for a first floor room. Check in is a long process so be prepared to wait. And if they are looking for a 3 star hotel, I would recommend it.

We were travelling back by car from the Loire valley and needed somewhere to stay overnight. We decided to stay in Bayeaux to look at the famous Tapestry. The Reine Mathilde was able to accommodate us at short notice and provide breakfast and English-speaking assistance (especially about the strange parking system!) before we set off again the next morning.

I would definitely recommend the hotel due to location and spaciousness of rooms. The restaurant was good and it seems guests get preference for reservations.

The hotel location was great and the restaurant on site was very nice and pretty good, Sunday it seemed to be the only one open nearby the hotel

Absence de parking, accueil médiocre, chambre étroite, petit-déjeuner très moyen : je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel.

Nous vous remercions d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre avis. Nous sommes désolés d’apprendre que votre séjour n’a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Nous tenons à nous excuser pour l'accueil que vous avez trouvé peu professionnel. Nous accueillons actuellement nos jeunes saisonniers qui sont en pleine formation et peuvent encore faire quelques petites erreurs, merci de votre compréhension.
Concernant, la taille de la chambre, celle-ci est bien indiquée à 11m2 sur le site booking.com.

Enfin pour le stationnement, notre établissement se situe en plein centre-ville, ce qui limite malheureusement la possibilité d’un parking privé, mais nous pouvons toujours vous recommander des parkings à proximité, payants et gratuits.

Nous espérons que malgré ces désagréments, vous aurez l’occasion de découvrir d’autres aspects positifs de notre hôtel lors de futures visites. Votre satisfaction est notre priorité.

The room was great, and the convenience of an on-site restaurant for dinner was also nice. We would definitely recommend staying in the Annex to others.
